How Logoil comes to life
LogOil is an innovative StartUp based in Genoa, founded in 2018, with the objective to develop, maintain and commercialize the LogOil system.
Thanks to the help of our in-house business angel, Angelica Morrone a strong partnership with Maser Italia, we aim to provide the Oil & Gas global market with a reliable product to prevent product leakages and spills, to manage its delivery and to control the supply chain.
To meet our goal we have built a strong technical team. With our partners we are building a combined marketing strategy, which is bringing us to meet major players on the Italian, European and world market.
The LogOil R&D project has been initiated and developed by SWHARD srl, of which our company can be considered a spin-off. LogOil shares with SWHARD the industrial perspective for the delivery of its services and the offer of R&D services, covering system design, hardware, firmware and software development in a continuous way.

Every technical detail of the LogOil system has been and will be developed with the focus on the product quality. Quality for us means reliability, functionality, adaptiveness and much more: it means an “uncomplainable” System-As-A-Service delivery for our customers.
Ecological Purpose
Increasing the efficiency of the downstream Oil & Gas delivery chain also means having a strict monitoring of its environmental implications (dispersions, incorrect handling etc…). Most of all, LogOil applications include dangerous and polluting liquids transportation monitoring and illegal dumps mapping. That’s our commitment to the environment.
LogOil has been present at the Oil Non Oil exposition editions of 2016, 2017 and 2018. In 2018 we have also taken part at the Sino-Italian Innovation week and Confindustria “Best Practice Award”. Watch video [IT].
In 2019 LogOil has been selected as finalists of NTT Data Open Innovation Contest 9.0 and won the “Zamma Award”, a special mention from NTT Data Corporate CTO Kotaro Zamma
In 2019 LogOil will take part at the International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference ADIPEC 2019 in Abu Dhabi.
In 2019, LogOil has finally received the Italian patent n. 102017000027595.
Alfonso Mantero, graduated in 2003 in Physics in Genoa University, from which he received his Physics PhD in 2008. He has been working on research projects for more than 10 years in various research centers like INFN, IN2P3 and ESA in the fields of Monte Carlo simulations for space and medical physics. Alfonso has also received from Genoa University his teaching qualification and has been a high school and university teacher for several years before founding, together with Egon Carusi, SWHARD in 2012 and LogOil in 2018 of both of which is CEO.
Egon has very strong technical competences in hardware and software development. With more than 20-year working experiences on projects in between scientific and technological research in different companies (CAEL, Viglietti and Ericsson among the others), he is specialized in numerical models simulations, digital electronics, BSP software development and mechatronics. Thanks to his multidisciplinary approach, he has developed a high competence in system design strategies. He founded SWHARD in 2012 and LogOil in 2018 with Alfonso Mantero, and he is CTO of both of them since then.
Angelica Morrone has nearly 30 years of experience in the financial markets. Following a quick career she was appointed to head the FIAT USA division, assuming, in addition, responsibility for the financial marketing activities of FIAT. She co-founded and has headed Deutsche Suisse Asset Management, Ltd, an investment management company, since 1999. In November 2018, she founded and currently manages Aligned Global, Ltd an impactful investment accelerator based in Lugano. Ms. Morrone graduated with honors from the University of Rome, received a Master with honors from Georgetown University and her MBA from London Business School.

We openly challenge any other solution to prove a higher and sturdier level of accuracy, theft and fraud prevention than what we have accomplished with LogOil. LogOil, for the originality of the solution, won the "Zamma Award" 2019 in the Open Innovation of NTT DATA.
